Shipping & payment conditions

We want you to be completely satisfied with your order and the service. That's why we ship our products within Europe cheaply and quickly with DHL, as an insured package and on the basis of our General Terms and Conditions (GTC), which are also listed here in part for information.

DELIVERY TIMES

In principle, all items in our shop are ready for delivery according to the approximate delivery time information on the product pages, but unforeseen delays are possible at any time. If the delivery time is specified as "special order", or if possible long delivery times are already noted in the item description, please ask before ordering so that an individual agreement can be made. Other options are:

Articles with the delivery option "Pre-order" indicate that the article is currently not available, but is already being prepared for production. An order already secures a place on the production list. If the article is available for delivery, the delivery will take place chronologically to the receipt of the pre-order by us. If possible, items that can be pre-ordered should be completed with the payment option "Payment in advance". If we are ready to deliver, we will send the invoice in advance and you can select the payment option PayPal, cash on delivery or bank transfer.

Article with delivery option "Production i.V." indicate that the article is currently not available, but is already being planned. There is no delivery date yet. Of course you can make a reservation and also place an order, preferably with advance payment, but please do not pay! If we are ready to deliver, we will send the invoice in advance and you can select the payment option PayPal, cash on delivery or bank transfer.

Note: The information on availability always only refers to one item under the item number. If you want to order more than one item of the same item number, please note that this may affect the shipping time: The item may not be in stock in the desired quantity. Larger orders may take longer to ship.


PRICES
All item prices include statutory sales tax, but exclude packaging and shipping costs. These costs will be calculated separately, unless they are completely eliminated due to the carriage paid order value. Deliveries outside the EU are delivered without German sales tax.


PRICES
Prices are subject to change without notice.  We will do our best to hold prices, but with fuel and raw material costs rapidly escalating, many of our vendors are regularly increasing prices.  We will notify you in advance in the case of a price increase before shipping.


Payment options

  • Cash on delivery: When the goods are delivered, you pay the invoice amount directly to the deliverer in cash. Please have an appropriate amount of cash ready In advance: You pay the invoice amount / partial invoice amount to the specified bank account. This payment method can also be selected for international and special orders, as well as for larger orders as a down payment. The order / production starts after receipt of money. Please note that after 7 days from the order date without receipt of payment, we will cancel the order or cancel a reservation. An exception to this is an order for a backorder item or one with a known long delivery time.
  • Via PayPal Plus This payment method can be selected for all products in our shop system and also accepts credit card payments, direct debits, payment by invoice and of course the classic payment with your Paypal account. Payment by PayPal This optional payment method can be selected in our shop system for all products with your PayPal account. Simply select Pay via Paypal and check if Pay by Installments is displayed as an option in your Paypal account. If so, just click and enter details and submit an application - that's it.
  • By credit/ voucher code or discount code This payment method is always applicable if you have such a voucher code, discount code from e.g. b. have sales promotions or have a credit balance. You can always offset and redeem these in the shopping cart ("Redeem voucher code or view credit amount"). This is displayed in the shopping cart. If your credit is higher than the order value, the transfer will be booked to your customer account until the next purchase. You can also email a portion of the credit from your shopping cart directly to a friend.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, including any international boarder Tariffs/Taxes/VAT or duty that may occur.

If you would prefer we ship your package via a different service, please call a Zipper’s Sales Representative or include this information in the comments/additional information in Bike Info in your order. You are still responsible for the full shipping payment and any/all Tariffs/Taxes/VAT that may occur, regardless of the freight carrier chosen.

REFUSED ORDERS
Refused orders will result in a 20% restocking fee plus all freight costs, which must be paid before any future orders will be shipped.  You are ultimately responsible for this cost, regardless of the reason.

DAMAGED ORDERS
Shipments that arrive damaged due to rough handling must be noted with the freight carrier immediately upon arrival. Obviously damaged shipments should be refused, with the reason for refusal clearly noted as damaged on arrival. If an order is unpacked and found to be damaged during shipment, contact the freight carrier immediately and save the carton and its packing contents, as you will need these for your claim. We will assist you with this process.

 

RETURNS
Every effort is made to supply you with the correct parts.  If you suspect you have received an incorrect part STOP!  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONTINUE INSTALLATION OR MODIFY THE COMPONENT AS MODIFIED COMPONENTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE! Contact us immediately and we will make every effort to work with you to resolve any problem you may have. Items modified per your request are not returnable.

Should you need to return an item for any other reason, follow these instructions:

1. Contact THORCAT immediately for a Return Goods Request Form.  Fill out this form and email it to your contact person at THORCAT.  You will be contacted with a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and form to send back with the item.

2. Double-box items whenever possible to preserve the original manufacturer’s packaging.  Pack the part carefully – no rattles or shakes!  Parts damaged due to improper packaging will not be credited.  Prepay the return shipping and insure the part for the full amount.

3. Write the RGA number on the outside of the shipping box and include the RGA form and a copy of the original invoice.

Return all original packaging and instructions with the product.  Do not write anything on the part or deface the packaging.  In order for us to credit you, the returned part must be in resalable condition.  No credit will be issued on parts that have been installed, used, altered, modified or otherwise changed from their original state. If you suspect that you have an incorrect part, STOP installation and call us.  We will make every effort to work with you to resolve any problem you may have.

Please be sure of your purchase.  A re-stocking fee of 20% may apply on items returned for credit or refund, less any freight paid by Zipper’s on the original sale and delivery of freight-paid items.
